Overview

GENERAL SUMMARY The Technical Services Installer will install and maintain voice, data, AV, slot, door card, security and fiber optic cable infrastructure projects. The installer will assist in audio / visual project installations. The installer will stay abreast of emerging technology in Telecommunications, Audio Visual and Infrastructure installation practices, and maintain a positive working environment.

All Team Members will display a Four Diamond commitment to Guest Service through the delivery and maintenance of the Quality Standards established by Pechanga Resort Casino (PRC).

• Provide 4 diamond service by installing and maintaining CAT6 voice and data on property.
• Assist with the installation of fiber optic cabling, terminations and testing.
• Assist with the installation of low voltage door card reader cabling.
• Assist with the installation of Audio / Video cabling and system installations.
• Assist with the installation of wireless access points.
• Perform installation of digital signage and associated hardware.
• Obtain and maintain certifications for medium-duty equipment through Pechanga training department (scissor lift, forklift)
• Maintain general housekeeping of I.T. equipment rooms.
• Maintain general housekeeping of digital signage displays.
• Being available off-hours for emergency situations as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

ACCOUNTABILITY:
This position has no supervisory responsibilities. The Team Member is responsible for protecting the assets of PRC.

Five or more years related experience and/or training. A high school diploma or a general education degree (GED) is required as well.

The position requires the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. This position also requires the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. The ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or employees of the organization is required as well.

The position requires the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. This position also requires the ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

This position requires the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. This position also requires the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

• Belden and or Commscope certifications recommended
• Must qualify to obtain and maintain a class “A” gaming license.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.

• Basic computer skills.
• Word and Excel knowledge.
• Basic tools.
• Basic audio and video system theories and best practices.
• Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. in weight throughout shift.
• Must be a self-starter who is highly motivated and resourceful.
• Must be able to work with a positive attitude in a fast paced and culturally diverse casino environment.
• Must be able to take direction and follow through with assigned tasks.
• Must be flexible and willing to work nights, weekends and holidays.
