Facilities Technician

Description

Under general supervision, maintains and repairs Facility equipment and systems at a 24/7 facility.

Experience with electrical systems, HVAC, mechanical systems, central plant equipment, specialized exhaust systems, clean dry air, acid & solvent exhaust systems, wastewater systems, and chemical delivery systems.

• Provides general and detailed maintenance on facilities systems, such as mechanical, electrical, chemical, gas, and systems.
• Performs routine general rounds and inspections throughout facility.
• Responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Completes documentation of all work performed.
• Mandatory participation in the site emergency response team.
• Respond to after‑hour call‑ins for emergency responses or repairs.
• Assist in coordinating building projects, facility upgrades, and special events.
• Relocate equipment, items, and furniture as assigned.
• Follow safety regulation and company procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience in facilities maintenance or similar industry.
• Knowledge of semiconductor facilities systems and industry‑specific systems is a plus.

• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Ability to participate in emergency response programs and after‑hours call‑ins
• Willingness to work day, night, weekend, or rotating shifts as needed
• Must be able to lift/move equipment and perform physical tasks
• Safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, CPR/First Aid) a plus

Hourly Range: $30.00 - $60.00 hourly (commensurate with experience)

Paid Time Off: 128 hours PTO + 40 hours California Sick Leave annually
