Asphalt Paver Operator

Responsibilities

• Safely operate asphalt paving equipment in active road construction environments
• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements
• Perform physical labour as required to support paving operations
• Complete other related duties as assigned by the Foreperson

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience operating asphalt pavers in road construction environments
• Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation to job sites
• Willingness to travel out of town as required, depending on project locations and operational needs (travel requirements may change).
• Ability to work safely and effectively on or near active construction sites, following all safety policies, procedures, and site‑specific requirements
• Physically able to perform the demands of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, climbing, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
• Able to work in a challenging construction environment, including outdoor conditions, noise, dust, fumes, and day or night shifts
• Mechanically inclined, with the ability to identify basic equipment issues will be considered an asset
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a paving crew

$29.00 - $31.00 per hour
