Asphalt Paver Operator

Responsibilities    Safely operate asphalt paving equipment in active road construction environments
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and site-specific requirements
Perform physical labour as required to support paving operations
Complete other related duties as assigned by the Foreperson
Requirements    Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience operating asphalt pavers in road construction environments
Valid Ontario driver’s licence and reliable transportation to job sites
Willingness to travel out of town as required, depending on project locations and operational needs (travel requirements may change).
Ability to work safely and effectively on or near active construction sites, following all safety policies, procedures, and site‑specific requirements
Physically able to perform the demands of the role, including prolonged standing, walking, climbing, bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs
Able to work in a challenging construction environment, including outdoor conditions, noise, dust, fumes, and day or night shifts
Mechanically inclined, with the ability to identify basic equipment issues will be considered an asset
Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a paving crew
Compensation   $29.00 - $31.00 per hour
