Location: New Liskeard
Maintain a safe, clean school environment at New Liskeard Public School through routine cleaning, equipment use, and related tasks. This temporary full-time schedule runs 2:00pm to 10:00pm, 40 hours weekly.
District School Board Ontario North East seeks a Custodian 1 for an existing 1.0 FTE vacancy. You will maintain Board buildings for students, staff, and visitors while completing routine cleaning and related duties. Experience in custodial work is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine cleaning throughout Board buildings
- Maintain safe, clean, and healthy environments
- Use cleaning materials and equipment efficiently
- Complete related custodial tasks for school facilities
- High School diploma or general degree (GED)
- Current WHMIS certificate
- Basic computer skills including email and data entry
- Read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Perform medium to heavy physical work with assistance
Support New Liskeard Public School with routine cleaning, safe facility maintenance, and efficient custodial equipment use.
