B&G Industrial Services Ltd. is hiring an experienced Welder / Industrial Fabricator to joinour steel manufacturing and industrial fabrication team in Thornloe, ON. Thisis a hands-on industrial role involving structural welding, fabrication, repairand maintenance of steel components and industrial equipment in a fast-pacedshop environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform welding using SMAW, MIG, TIG, and FCAW processes
- Weld in multiple positions (flat, vertical, horizontal, overhead)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
- Fabricate,assemble, and repair structural steel and industrial components
- Align and position parts using measuring tools and clamps
- Repair equipment and machinery through welding and metal repair techniques
- Operate grinders and fabrication tools to prepare materials
- Ensure weld quality meets company and industry standards
- Follow allhealth and safety procedures in an industrial shop environment
- Maintain aclean and safe workspace
- CWB certification or equivalent welding qualification (asset or required depending on role)
- Experience in industrial, fabrication, mill, or structural welding environment
- Ability to readand interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong understanding of welding codes and safety standards
- Physically capable of performing heavy industrial work
- Valid driver’s license (asset for site travel roles)
- Exposure to noise, heat, dust and steel fabrication equipment
- Occasional overtime and emergency call-ins may be required
- PPE is mandatory at all times
Wage: CA $55,000.00 - CA $78,000.00 per year
Overtime: Paid in accordance with Ontario Employment Standards Act
