Serve bakery customers as a Baker at Your Independent Grocer, using accurate scanning, product labeling, and friendly customer service. Flexible availability is required.
This Baker role supports an in-store bakery experience through customer orders, product knowledge, and organized displays. You will answer questions, share information, and help improve the shopping experience. Training is provided, so previous experience is not required.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide outstanding customer service to bakery shoppers
- Take orders and accurately label products
- Accurately scan products during customer purchases
- Maintain product displays and organized department areas
- Follow promotions, programs, and health standards
- Demonstrated customer service skills
- Attention to detail and reliable teamwork
- Ability to work independently and learn new things
- Flexibility for days, evenings, nights, and weekends
- Ability to move up to 50 pounds throughout shifts
