This role is located in the Tempe, AZ area and only candidates within a commutable distance to our Tempe office will be considered. This role is hybrid, minimum of 3 days a week in office.

About the Role

As an Executive Assistant, you will provide executive and logistical support to our Chief Executive Officer of Sequoia One while also having the opportunity to own and manage key events and projects for the organization.

We are looking for a highly motivated, over-achieving, hands-on Executive Assistant who flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Previous experience in heavy calendaring, meeting preparation, and knowledge and expertise in a client service environment. You must be an effective communicator who can hit the ground running and be positive and proactive in all aspects of the business.

What You Get to Do
  • Be the "face" and represent Sequoia in all interactions, communicating with team leaders, clients, prospects and partners (virtually and in-person)
  • Proactively and efficiently manage leader’s complex calendar and commitments
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Prepare presentation materials and create reports using various software tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, etc.
  • Keep leaders organized and be proactive in providing agendas and meeting material to prepare for meetings
  • Partner with EA, People, Facilities, and Marketing team on event logistics (offsites, team events, external partner events)
  • Prioritize work by considering its risk, importance, urgency, and potential business, organizational, or client implications, escalating when appropriate
  • All aspects of project management for special projects
  • Partner with leader's direct reports on goals, deadlines, and stay aligned on priorities
  • Assist with submitting monthly expense reports on behalf of leaders
  • Coordinate and plan all business travel logistics
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of professional experience, including experience supporting senior level executives
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Ability to understand needs and deliver results under tight deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and have constant change on a variety of projects
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong program and project management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Solutions-oriented team player who takes initiative and is accountable for results
