Automotive Technician​/Mechanic Weekends Off | Higley Baseline & McQueen Guadalupe

Are you an energetic and upbeat automotive technician? Do you thrive on solving tough problems and delivering outstanding service? If so, we want you on our team! As an Automotive Technician, you will:

• Utilize your skills to diagnose and repair vehicles for our valued guests.
• Gain experience working on a diverse range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Conduct thorough and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Collaborate with your team to address guest concerns swiftly and effectively.
• Uphold our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Communicate effectively with the service department regarding any concerns.
• Work alongside fellow technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• A positive attitude and a genuine desire to serve our guests.
• 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve them.
• The ability to diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles.
• A track record of meeting or exceeding hourly goals.
• A willingness to learn new skills and processes.
• A professional appearance and strong communication skills.
• A desire for long-term career development.

This role requires:

• The ability to occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
• Comfort working with tools on vehicles lifted above your head.
• The ability to work in tight spaces as needed for repairs.
• Dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
• The ability to walk or stand for most of the workday.
• Experience driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Proficiency in navigating a computer.
