Procurement Specialist/Manager - Vegan Wellness Brands for Humans and Animals

Ethical Enterprises manages several brands specializing in manufacturing premium dietary supplements and personal care products for humans and animals, focusing on botanicals, botanical extracts, and superfoods in powder and encapsulated form. Committed to quality, we use only high-grade vegan ingredients free from pesticides, GMOs, irradiation, solvents, and harmful fillers. Additionally, we uphold stringent ecological and environmental standards to ensure the well being of our staff, products, and the world  dedication to sustainability is reflected through practices such as glass packaging and recycled and/or biodegradable shipping materials.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Tempe, AZ. The Procurement Specialist/Manager for Ethical Enterprises will manage purchasing activities and execute procurement strategies to support the company's high standards. Key responsibilities include processing purchase orders, evaluating suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring materials meet our quality and sustainability criteria. The specialist will collaborate closely with various teams to optimize supply chain operations while upholding ethical procurement practices.

Qualifications
  • Strong work ethic, moral fibre, and supportive of vegan ethics
  • Experience in handling Purchase Orders and overall Procurement processes
  • Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and building productive supplier relationships
  • Proficiency in Contract Negotiation and ensuring alignment with company standards
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills for evaluating vendors, market trends, and cost analyses
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
  • Familiarity with sustainable and ethical sourcing practices without compromise
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
