Part-Time Front Desk Assistant; Preschool​/Daycare

About the Role:

We are seeking a warm, reliable, and friendly Part-Time Front Desk Assistant to join our preschool team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young children and families, is organized and helpful, and is comfortable supporting both classroom and front office needs.

The Front Desk Assistant is often the first point of contact for families, so a positive attitude and strong communication skills are essential. While this position is primarily based outside the classroom, candidates must be qualified to work in a classroom and willing to step in when needed.

• Assist with front desk duties such as answering phones, messages, and basic administrative tasks
• Support teachers by preparing classroom materials, organizing supplies, and helping with daily setup
• Provide assistance in classrooms as needed
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming school environment
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with staff and families

• Must be at least 18 years old
• High School Diploma/GED
• At least 6 months of experience working in a licensed daycare, preschool, or school
• Meets qualifications to work in a classroom setting
• Friendly, dependable, and responsible
• Comfortable multitasking and helping where needed
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Genuine enjoyment of working with young children and families
