We are seeking an entry‑level Construction Management Technician to join our team. This position requires 40 hours per week working in the field in various locations around the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area. (This job is not remote nor hybrid.)
Join our team as a Construction Management Technician, where you’ll play a vital role in supporting construction management staff through all project phases—from preconstruction to construction. This entry‑level position provides hands‑on experience, professional growth opportunities, and the chance to work alongside experienced engineers and construction managers in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assist with construction management tasks on multiple projects, including preconstruction services, and construction administration.
- Perform field inspections, collect test data, and provide support for civil, mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation construction activities.
- Assist with reviewing submittals, RFIs, and engineering directives/clarifications.
- Support construction managers with monitoring project schedules, tracking milestones, and reporting progress.
- Prepare meeting agendas, schedule meetings, and document meeting minutes accurately.
- Support key construction project documentation management.
- Coordinate with sub‑consultants, contractors, and utility providers to help advance project goals.
- Support the preparation, organization, and review of daily, weekly, and monthly reports, and other project documents.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including engineering staff, inspection staff, and administrative staff.
- Communicate clearly with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and team members.
- Associate degree (or higher) in a related field from an accredited institution preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required; familiarity with tools such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, or Primavera P6 software is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to document project progress effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment while managing tasks independently with guidance.
- A valid driver’s license may be required for travel to field sites.
