Icon Electric is hiring an experienced Senior Electrical Estimator to prepare cost estimates for electrical construction projects. This role involves working closely with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure accurate project pricing.

• Estimate costs for electrical construction projects ($10,000 to $5 million)
• Provide preliminary pricing based on discussions and available site conditions
• Assist in designing projects that are not fully developed
• Identify value engineering opportunities to optimize costs
• Account for hidden costs (engineering, testing, commissioning, etc.)
• Consult with clients, vendors, and internal teams to refine estimates
• Attend job site walk‑throughs to assess field conditions
• Request and analyze material and equipment quotes
• Prepare detailed bid documents with scope letters and labor estimates
• Convert preliminary budgets into finalized pricing
• Participate in sales efforts and client meetings
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and contractors
• Keep project stakeholders updated on bid progress
• Other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Electrical apprenticeship or bachelor's in Construction Management preferred, but not required
• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience in the commercial and / or industrial space
• Proficiency in Accubid, Word, Excel, Outlook, Bluebeam
• Stable work history (4-6 years per previous company)
• Strong understanding of labor factoring and takeoff strategies
• Ability to supervise and lead an estimating team
• Strong client relationship and negotiation skills

• $120,000 to $140,000 base salary depending on experience
• Sign‑on bonus
• Performance and retention bonus potential
• Company pays for Cobra for up to 90 days
