INSULATION SALES/ESTIMATOR WANTED

GI BUILDING PRODUCTS, an Insulation Contractor, is seeking a full‑time Sales/Estimator. As a Sales/Estimator, you will be responsible for developing relationships with builders and maintaining them, getting plans from builders to price, analyzing project specifications, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring that our projects are budgeted accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience in construction, people skills, works well as part of a team, and a keen eye for detail, and resides in the metro Phoenix area.

• Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to determine project requirements.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project‑related expenses.
• Collaborate with project managers, production managers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and clarify project scope.
• Create detailed work orders for production to be used in the field to complete the work.
• Perform cost analysis and prepare bid proposals for projects.
• Monitor market trends and pricing to ensure accurate estimates.
• Maintain and update a database of historical cost data for reference in future estimates.
• Participate in pre‑bid meetings and site visits as required.
• Provide recommendations for cost‑saving measures and value engineering opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.
• Have a strong work ethic and moral compass.
• Visit customers and develop new business.
