Tempe, AZ (Hybrid)
· Full Time · $80,000 - $120,000
Lead complex steel and construction projects from first model to final invoice, with a team that counts on your direction.
Must-Haves5+ years of construction project management experience5+ years in lead drafting/detailing roles (Project Coordinator, Lead Modeler, or Checker)
Proven track record managing budgets, client relationships, and project teams
Certificate or diploma in civil or structural steel drafting/detailing, engineering, or similar
Training in 3D modeling software such as Tekla, AutoCAD, or Navisworks Primavera or Microsoft Project proficiency
Strong Advantage Steel detailing experience
Familiarity with Pro Steel, StruCAD, Revit, or AutoPLANTAbout the CompanyA global leader in structural steel detailing, BIM, and virtual design and construction services. The team supports major commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects, combining deep technical expertise with a collaborative office culture.
The Opportunity You will own projects end to end, from scope and planning through delivery and reporting. You will lead a dedicated project team, manage client relationships, and help shape proposals, tenders, and consulting reports.
What You Will Do Set a clear project scope and lead your team with defined expectations
Deliver projects on schedule, on budget, and to high quality standards
Track schedule and costs, spotting risks before they become problems
Partner with production to allocate hours and resources
Identify and submit change orders on time
Work with Finance so invoices go out and get paid on time Resolve scope, cost, and schedule issues while keeping clients confident
Support production teams across every phase of the project
