Responsibilities

• Speaker Outreach: Identify, contact, and confirm Professors and Graduate students for panels and talks.
• Content Curation: Read and summarize Graduate/PhD level material to create content for events.
• Event Management: Host academic events and moderate panels.
• Newsletter: Write the weekly student newsletter segment focusing on research and pathways.
• Meetings: Attend bi-weekly team meetings and twice-weekly 1:1 syncs with the Director.

Tools: SDC, Notion, Discord, Google Docs.

Requirements: Strong reading comprehension (technical papers), "Common Sense" (Critical Thinking), and reliability.

Industry Programs Team

Focus:
Corporate Connections, Career Pathways, and Sponsor ships

Perfect for students looking to build their professional network and understand the corporate landscape.

Role:
Industry Relations Coordinator

Openings: 4

Responsibilities

• Corporate Outreach: Execute the industry outreach campaign to secure speakers and guests.
• Sponsor ships: Manage and update the Sponsorship Packet; secure corporate funding.
• Event Hosting: Host industry-focused events and facilitate networking sessions.
• Newsletter: Curate the Industry Newsletter featuring insights, skills/tools, and job opportunities.
• Insights: Research and present on industry pathways and required skills.

Development, Infrastructure, and Documentation

For students who want hands‑on technical experience or process management skills.

Responsibilities

• Web & Systems: Maintain the ACM Website, Discord server bots, and manage the Passbolt password manager.
• Production: Handle database management and analytics tracking.
• Documentation: Create and maintain SOPs, technical guides, forms, and templates.
• Activities: Implement gamification strategies for member engagement and digital hospitality.

Tools: Web stack, Discord API, Database tools, Documentation platforms.

Engagement Team

Focus:
Social Media, Content Creation, and Marketing

Ideal for creative students skilled in video editing, graphic design, and community management.

Role:
Creative Content & Engagement Specialist

Responsibilities

• Content Creation: Create and edit You Tube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and manage the You Tube channel.
• Event Promotion: Handle pre‑event promotions and capture post‑event photos/learnings.
• Platform Management: Create and manage Linked In events and general social media posting.
• Design: Edit and refine the Sponsorship Packet and digital assets.

Relations Team

Focus:
Partnerships and External Communication

For students with strong communication skills who want to act as the face of the organization to external partners.

External Relations Manager

• Interclub Relations: Collaborate with other student organizations for joint events.
• Marketing: Coordinate cross‑posting strategies with partner clubs.
• Corporate Relations: Assist in securing and maintaining corporate sponsor ships.

Logistics Operations Team
