Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Project 3D Artist employed by Creative Environments, your role will involve creating accurate and lifelike 3D models that include full-lot designs, advanced site work, and fly-through videos. Collaborating closely with our team of designers, you are tasked with delivering top-tier visualizations mirroring precise design intentions and construction specifics. You will adeptly manage projects with minimal supervision, maintaining high standards while reducing revisions.

You will regularly liaise with designers to ensure harmonized project requirements, creating precise and captivating visual imagery to guarantee successful project culmination.

· Collaborate with landscape designers to convert sketches & CAD drawings into beautiful and realistic renders to bring the designer’s vision to life

· Use 3D software to create visually engaging 3D designs with efficient time usage

· Develop detailed, accurate models identifying all design aspects

· Maintain communication with designers to verify information and provide updates

· Proficient in 3ds Max, Lumion, Adobe Suites, Microsoft Office

· Demonstrate critical thinking to optimize outcomes for clients

· Revise plans as requested by 3D Manager, Designer, Executives

· Learn and implement standards set for all models/renders in the 3D Department

· Form understanding on the time studies provided by Creative Environments and adhere to these standards.

Required Skills/Abilities:

· Expertise in advanced 3D modeling, rendering, and animation software (e.g., Sketch Up, 3ds Max, Lumion, Adobe Suites).

· Strong organizational and project management skills to handle complex tasks and meet tight deadlines.

· Ability to produce high-quality work with minimal revisions, maintaining high standards of accuracy and detail.

· Capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-sufficiency in modeling, rendering, and production processes.

· Excellent communication skills for regular interaction with designers and other team members to ensure project alignment.

· Ability to contribute to departmental improvements through research, development, and enhancement of tools and libraries.

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in 3D modeling, graphic design, architecture, or a related field.

· 1-3 years of experience in 3D modeling, rendering, or a related field, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex projects.

· Advanced proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Revit, 3ds Max).

· A strong portfolio showcasing advanced skills in 3D modeling, rendering, and visualization, with examples of complex projects and high-quality deliverables.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer

· Frequent use of hands for typing, mouse control, and operating office equipment

· Excellent eye-hand coordination and visual acuity to distinguish details in technical drawings and computer screens

· Ability to perform repetitive motions such as typing and mouse movements

· Ability to stand, walk, & use stairs occasionally for site visits or meetings

· Ability to lift and carry items up to 20 pounds, such as laptops, documents, and supplies

· Clear communication skills for discussing projects with team members and clients

· Comfortable working in a typical office environment with standard lighting and temperature controls
