Overview
Phoenix Children’s Pediatrics (PCP) in Tempe seeks a Pediatrician, Bilingual in Spanish, to provide primary care for children from birth to 18 years. The clinic is part of Phoenix Children’s Care Network and offers comprehensive services including well‑child visits, immunizations, sports physicals, behavioral health, lactation support, and more.
Required Certifications & Licensure- Unrestricted Arizona Medical License (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
- Board certification in Pediatrics (or specialty appropriate for the role)
- Board certification in a specialty that provides clinical research protocols (optional)
- Provide direct patient care on an inpatient and outpatient basis
- Conduct well‑child visits, sports physicals, and routine assessments
- Manage acute pediatric illnesses and follow‑up care
- Diagnose and treat complex pediatric conditions
- Coordinate care with specialists as needed
- Assist the Chief Physician with administrative responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor clinic staff, including medical students, residents, and allied health professionals
- Assist with fiscal and professional management of the division
- Develop and implement policies to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies
- Plan and evaluate programs to improve patient care and clinic operations
- Support medical education and research
- Teach rounds, lectures, and conferences for trainees
- Participate in postgraduate continuing education activities
- Contribute to scholarly work and clinical research protocols
- Represent Phoenix Children’s in the medical and business communities
- Serve as liaison to private practice referral sources
- Participate in community outreach and public relations activities
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Chief Physician
- MD or DO degree (MD preferred)
- Bilingual in Spanish (written and spoken proficiency)
- Current Arizona Medical License or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Board certified in Pediatrics (or related specialty)
- Experience in a primary pediatric practice setting
- Strong communication skills and commitment to high‑quality patient care
