School Psychologist 1.0 FTE (Anticipated)
Position Summary:
The School Psychologist provides services that help students succeed academically, socially, and emotionally. The Psychologist collaborates with teachers, administrators, families, and other mental health professionals to create a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment for all students and strengthens connections between home and school.
Department:
Special Education Department of High School Campus, assigned
Reports to:
Director of Special Education
Training and
Experience:
- Master’s Degree or higher degree from an accredited institution
Licensing/Certification Requirements:
- Completion of all requirements to obtain Arizona Department of Education Professional Non-Teaching Certificate as a School Psychologist or
- Valid State of Arizona licensure as a Psychologist
- Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
- If applicable, must obtain required certifications for being a Direct Service Claim (DSC) provider and fulfill all reporting responsibilities
