Work Schedule:
This is a part-time position, scheduled for up to 19.5 hours per week. Workdays are Monday through Thursday, with flexibility for either morning (AM) or afternoon (PM) shifts, based on department needs.

Job SummaryProvides in-person synchronous and blended asynchronous instruction for English Language Learners (ELLs) enrolled in the English Success Class Fundamental and Career Training (ESC FCT) course, an integrated program designed to concurrently build foundational English proficiency, digital and employability skills, and provide noncredit career training that leads to stackable industry‑recognized credentials. Instruction supports learners at ELL level 3+ in developing English language acquisition, civics knowledge, and workforce readiness skills in alignment with the Integrated English Literacy and Civics Education + Training (IELCE+T) program.
The position integrates language instruction with contextualized workforce preparation aligned to in‑Demand industries, rights and responsibilities of citizenship, and student success strategies. Utilizes approved curriculum for course components and collaborates with instructional and career services teams to monitor and refer students as part of a case‑management model.
40% – Delivers integrated instruction to new students through a noncredit English Success Class Fundamentals and Career Training (ESC FCT) course using blended learning strategies; follows approved course curriculum that integrates English language acquisition, civics, employability skills, career training, and digital literacy instruction; delivers instruction aligned to learners' English proficiency level (level 3+ and higher), incorporating workplace vocabulary and real‑life applications; delivers career exploration activities and teaches noncredit career training that leads to a stackable industry‑recognized credential;
builds learner confidence in foundational skills (speaking, listening, reading, writing) while supporting progress toward IELCE+T program milestones; introduces the U.S. Civics Test and provides practice and preparation embedded within instruction. Sets up and monitors learning management system account access and use for student academic and career training. Monitors and supports student milestone achievement during the course including educational functioning level gains through progress testing, civics test completion, and non‑credit industry‑recognized credential attainment.
30% – Engages in student case management by assessing individual learner needs to develop, implement, and regularly update individualized learning plans; regularly monitors and assesses student progress toward learning goals outlined in their individualized learning plans; identifies early…
