Position Summary: Provides services for the identified sport or activities per the specific job description.

Department: High School Athletics or Activities

Reports to: Assistant Principal for Athletics or Activities

Supervises: May supervise assistant coaches, auxiliary coaches or volunteers as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior experience in a similar position preferred
• Successful experience working with students
• Must meet all background requirements

• National Federation of State High Schools Association (NFHSA) certification.
• Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Valid Arizona teacher or Substitute certification.
• Obtain appropriate training and certification to transport students in the white buses. Training must be completed within two weeks of beginning employment.

Salary Placement: Appropriate grade and step placement on the Extracurricular Salary Schedule
