Who We’re Looking For:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate
- Gifted Endorsement/Certification (Required)
- Minimum five (5) years of successful classroom teaching
- Demonstrated success in project-based, student-centered, or immersive learning environments
- Familiarity with tools and approaches such as design thinking, studio learning, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Unity game engine and/or other AR/VR platforms
Preferred Attributes
- Experience designing interdisciplinary units that incorporate student voice and real-world relevance.
- Capacity to integrate technology and media to amplify learning (e.g., podcasting, video storytelling, digital fabrication, eSports).
- Demonstrated success in project-based, student-centered, or immersive learning
- Commitment to continuous growth, creativity, and collaborative

About the Role:
The Gifted Experience & Design Specialist serves as a strategic learning architect. Working exclusively with Instructional Experience Designers and Gifted-certified teachers, this role exists to enhance teacher effectiveness and ignite student curiosity by facilitating the implementation of evidence-based instructional strategies, aligning rigorous curriculum, and driving continuous school improvement. By blending gifted pedagogy with advanced design thinking, you help architect deeply personalized, interdisciplinary experiences that unlock the unique potential of every gifted learner.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Interdisciplinary Design & Personalization
- Partner exclusively with Instructional Experience Designers to co-design interdisciplinary, standards-aligned experiences rooted in student
- Facilitate the creation of personalized learning paths that encourage choice, autonomy, and intellectual development for gifted
- Leverage learning studios (e.g., Story & Stream, Maker & Motion) to connect literacy, STEM, and the arts through authentic
