Our expertise includes design‑assist, HVAC, plumbing, sheet metal, and process piping construction for semiconductor, data center, healthcare, biotech, water treatment, power generation, and other facilities.
Responsibilities- Inspect welds and materials per AWS, ASME, and API standards.
- Develop and manage welding QC plans and documentation.
- Review WPS, PQR, and WPQ.
- Perform visual and NDT inspections.
- Coordinate with third‑party inspectors and clients.
- Maintain welder certifications and inspection records.
- Support training and resolve quality issues.
Education and Experience
- Degree in Welding Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in HVAC or piping systems.
- AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
- 3–5 years of welding QC experience in construction.
- Knowledge of AWS D1.1, ASME IX, API 1104.
- Familiarity with NDT methods (RT, UT, MT, PT).
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Additional certifications, such as NDT Level II or ASQ.
- Integrity, honesty, professionalism, and careful handling of confidential information.
- Goal‑oriented, self‑starter with the ability to build rapport and influence others.
- Highly self‑motivated, excellent organizational skills, and ability to execute projects on time and on budget.
- Willingness to learn from feedback and adapt behavior as needed.
- Commitment to company values.
Must communicate effectively in English and collaborate with multiple levels of customers, employees, unions, government agencies, vendors, suppliers, and contractor organizations.
Physical DemandsRegularly required to sit, see, talk, and hear while communicating verbally and in writing. Must work at a computer for extended periods, and be able to adjust focus, see close and distant vision, and use peripheral vision.
Work EnvironmentTypical office environment except when visiting field locations; noise level usually moderate to loud. May require occasional travel by car or airplane to field locations or business meetings.
