Controls/System Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for executing automation commissioning and validation protocols, troubleshooting and resolving non-conformances, and collaborating with internal engineers and clients to deliver cutting‑edge control systems. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing efficiency, product quality, and profitability in process manufacturing.
Responsibilities- Execute automation commissioning and validation protocols.
- Troubleshoot and remediate commissioning and validation non‑conformances.
- Collaborate with internal engineers and clients to provide advanced control systems.
- Define and implement programmable logic controller (PLC) configurations.
- Perform testing and on‑site commissioning and qualification of control systems.
- Proficiency in PLC programming and automation.
- Experience with PLC‑based control systems.
- Strong process documentation skills.
- Hands‑on experience with troubleshooting Rockwell PLCs.
- Work experience in a GMP/Pharma environment.
- Ability to execute assignments with minimal supervision.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in site, material, and equipment management.
- Familiarity with assembly of automated equipment.
- Knowledge of safety analysis and documentation.
The role involves working in a team environment to deliver high‑quality, efficient, and reliable control systems for manufacturing and facilities. Expect to travel 30%-50% of the time, primarily within Texas in 2026. The company offers long‑term opportunities, internal growth potential, and attractive per diems and bonuses for travel.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Tempe, AZ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $105000.00/yr.
