Role:
Electrical Engineer/Product Engineer (HVAC)
Location:
Tempe Arizona
- Lead and support activities to ensure manufacturing, installation, and operational testing meet design and functional requirements.
- Design electrical components, systems, and equipment for commercial and industrial applications.
- Create accurate electrical layouts, schematics, and wiring diagrams for various systems.
- Develop and maintain design documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs) and electrical specifications.
- Participate in design reviews and ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and product requirements.
- Support the manufacturing and installation process by providing technical guidance and resolving design‑related issues.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Analyze existing designs for potential issues and propose effective solutions to optimize safety, performance, and manufacturability.
- Perform load calculations and select appropriate electrical components to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Diagnose and resolve moderate to complex technical issues related to electrical systems.
- Support product development initiatives, ensuring designs align with engineering and business objectives.
- Assist in testing finished products and systems to validate performance and reliability.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, schematics, and test procedures.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a product‑focused role.
- Proficiency in designing, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and systems.
- Strong problem‑solving skills with a detail‑oriented and innovative approach to design challenges.
- Working knowledge of applicable standards and regulations, including NEC, IEEE, and other industry‑specific codes.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills for effective collaboration across cross‑functional teams.
- Proficiency in CAD/Solid Works software for electrical design.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards (e.g. NEC, IEC).
- Ability to perform electrical load calculation and component selection.

- High attention to detail with a methodical and precise approach to design and documentation.
