Merlin Entertainments Guest Experience Host (Part‑time)
Pay: $14.70/hour
About the RoleThe Host will help create memorable experiences in attractions for guests. Hosts work in various positions across the attraction, including Admissions, Ride Operations, Food and Beverage, Retail, Birthday Party, Costume Characters, and Special Events. They deliver the highest possible standards of guest service, presentation, and product knowledge, ensuring guests receive optimal fun in a magical, fun, and safe environment.
Responsibilities- Adopting an enthusiastic, assertive, and passionate approach to Guest Service.
- Seeking out guest contact and displaying enthusiasm and boundless fun energy.
- Managing extended lines in a safe manner while delivering an excellent guest experience.
- Ensuring public areas are well stocked, displays and points of sale are ready, and areas are maintained clean and tidy throughout the day.
- Following opening and closing procedures as detailed in the department’s operating plan.
- Ensuring compliance with Health, Safety & Security, including COVID‑19 policies, practices, and regulations.
- 6 months – 1 year of experience in attractions, entertainment, or customer service–based positions (preferred).
- Fun, dynamic, and friendly personality.
- Excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills.
- Ability to work in areas with loud noises and confined spaces.
- Self‑motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and special events.
