Job OverviewThe Banking Service Associate Professional supports our Financial Professionals, their assistants, and internal business partners in delivering best‑in‑class service to support advisors and their clients. This role is part of a specialized service team that handles a high volume of inbound and outbound calls related to LPL’s Cash Management account and banking products. The associate will also provide knowledge of operational requirements, firm policies, and compliance guidance, ensuring all calls meet regulatory and company standards.
Ideal candidates have experience in a service center environment or the wealth‑management/banking industry and a passion for excellence.
- Deliver exceptional customer service via inbound calls, outbound phone calls, and email responses related to banking and lending. Aim for first‑call resolution and process requests to desired service levels.
- Serve as the single point of contact for all banking matters, guiding Financial Professionals and their assistants through processes and platform use.
- Acquire and maintain detailed knowledge of LPL systems, processes, and internal partners, sharing learnings across the team.
- Ensure compliance with LPL firm policies, regulatory and banking requirements, exercising business judgment and discretion.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, participate in forums, and collaborate with leadership and external partners to drive service model enhancements.
- Promote a positive team culture, supporting employees and upholding LPL’s values and mission statements.
- 1–2 years of customer service experience, preferably in financial services (wealth management or banking).
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or economics.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Quick learning ability in a dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail, multi‑tasking, problem‑solving, and follow‑up skills.
- MS Office experience required.
- Possession of an SIE license or ability to acquire one.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules and hours as needed.
- Highly refined communication skills, serving as a recognized subject‑matter expert.
- Commitment to owning the customer experience and delivering high satisfaction.
- Strong leadership abilities and knowledge of LPL policies and procedures.
- Regulatory licenses or designations (e.g., s99, s7, s66, ACAM, CFP, PMP) are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, work ethic, and listening skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a high‑quality client approach.
$20.48–$34.13 per hour. Actual base salary varies by skill, experience, education, location, and performance. LPL Total Rewards includes 401(k) matching, health benefits, employee stock options, paid time off, volunteer time off, and more.
