Correctional Officer 1 – Phoenix Complex – State of Arizona

$45.00/hr – $54,975 annually (salary range $45,621–$54,975). Includes $5,000 hiring bonus, $2,500 upon COTA completion, and additional incentives.

We are actively seeking talented individuals for Correctional Officer positions at our Phoenix facility. Join us in our mission to enhance public safety across Arizona through modern, effective correctional practices and meaningful engagements.

• Ensuring the security of the inmate population within the facility's perimeter
• Providing supervision and guidance to inmates
• Conducting thorough pat and strip‑searches to maintain safety
• Effectively de‑escalate situations
• Initiating and completing reports accurately and promptly
• Fulfilling all assigned post duties diligently
• Responding promptly to emergency situations as required

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; maintain confidentiality and impartiality
• Physical fitness and stamina for standing, searches, restraining, and emergency response

• At least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• No felony convictions
• Proof of U.S. residency
