Job Summary
Diagnostician / Licensed Psychologist – center‑based, full‑time (or part‑time) at Bierman Autism Centers.
Bierman Autism Centers, a center‑based model providing early intensive behavioral intervention, seeks a motivated and energetic team member to conduct diagnostic evaluations for children who may have autism. The diagnostician will implement the assessment process from beginning to end and independently provide diagnostic and developmental assessments for prospective clients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct autism spectrum assessment, analyze and interpret data, write evaluation reports, and review results with families.
- Design and implement parent support sessions that meet individual and group needs for parents of newly diagnosed children.
- Design and implement parent and sibling groups for current clients.
- Consult with parents concerning client needs as required.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports and documents as required.
- Assist in the selection of assessment materials and equipment.
- Articulate the company’s mission and goals in the area of assessment services to the community and solicit support in realizing the mission.
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team of other experienced individuals, including BCBAs, Occupational Therapists, and Speech and Language Pathologists.
- Daytime hours with no travel – open Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 4:45 pm.

Requirements- Education:
PhD or PsyD in Psychology. - Licensure in Arizona as a Psychologist.
- Willingness to obtain licensure in other states, if applicable.
- HSPP endorsed.
- BCBA‑D preferred with current certification.
- At least one year of experience diagnosing ASD; post‑doctoral experience may be included.
- Experience administering diagnostic measures to diagnose or rule out autism.
- Proficiency with ADOS‑2, CARS, GARS‑2.
- Excellent report writing, communication, interpersonal, organization, time‑management, and prioritization skills.
- Interest in conducting and disseminating research with at least one publication.
- Available to travel primarily within the assigned region during business days; occasional out‑of‑area travel and overnight may be required.
- Ability to lift and carry clients weighing at least 30 pounds.
- Will or ability to restrain/hold/transport and utilize quick body movements in working with children with challenging behavior.
- Ability to maintain various postures (kneeling, squatting, crouching, crawling, sitting, standing, bending) for extended periods.
- Ability to walk, run, and maintain a three‑foot distance at all times.
- Ability to sit on the floor or stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity to perform computer and electronic device functions for data collection.
- Visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper.
- Ability to transfer written data to electronic files or database systems.
- Ability to work prolonged periods on a computer while seated at a desk.
