• Collect and review all patient insurance information needed for billing, collections, appeals, and cash processes to ensure clean claim submissions to insurance carriers.
• Follow up on dental billing and accounts receivable for all payer types.
• Process dental insurance EOBs, appeals, denials, and follow up with denial resolutions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Understand insurance EOBs and apply appropriate adjustment best practices according to internal guidelines.
• Post payments received from insurance carriers and patients.
• Effectively utilize various means for collections, including phone, fax, mail, and online methods.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers while resolving requests in a timely and accurate manner and escalating complaints accordingly.
• Audit accounts for quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• One year of experience in dental revenue cycle, billing, operations, or clinical skills.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft, Open Dental, and/or Dentrix preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on providing timely responses.
• Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Strong organizational abilities; detail oriented.
• Skilled at managing multiple tasks with goals and deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working conditions include those typically seen in an office environment. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
