Job SummaryThe Procedural Specialist III will provide expert clinical and technical support for Bard Peripheral Vascular products to healthcare professionals in the Sacramento, CA region, ensuring optimal product utilization and patient outcomes. The role involves educating medical staff, troubleshooting device issues, collaborating with sales teams, and monitoring market trends.
Job Responsibilities- Provide advanced clinical and technical support to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals during cardiovascular and peripheral vascular procedures involving Bard Peripheral Vascular products.
- Educate and train medical staff on the safe and effective use, features, and benefits of Bard Peripheral Vascular devices, including hands‑on demonstrations and in‑service presentations.
- Act as a primary resource for troubleshooting product issues in the operating room or cath lab environment, providing immediate solutions and escalating complex problems as necessary.
- Collaborate with sales representatives to identify and pursue new business opportunities, fostering strong relationships with key opinion leaders and clinical staff.
- Monitor and report on product performance, competitive activities, and market trends within the assigned territory.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Bard Peripheral Vascular product lines, competitor products, and relevant industry guidelines and regulations.
- Participate in and support regional and national medical conferences, workshops, and company meetings.
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory of demonstration products and clinical support materials.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, medical, or related field is preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical support role within the medical device industry, preferably with a focus on interventional cardiology, radiology, or vascular surgery.
- Proven expertise with peripheral vascular devices, including stents, balloons, and access/closure devices.
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular and peripheral vascular anatomy, physiology, and procedural techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively educate and influence medical professionals.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to perform under pressure in a clinical setting.
- Ability to travel extensively within the Sacramento, CA region, and occasionally nationally, as required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
