Behavior Technician at Soar Autism Center

At Soar Autism Center, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum. The Behavior Technician or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) plays a pivotal role in our mission‑driven care model, employing evidence‑based approaches such as the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM).

• Provide one‑on‑one ABA therapy to children aged 2‑6 in our clinic, adhering to professional standards.
• Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert BCBAs, ensuring alignment with ABA principles.
• Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress.
• Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up to date with advances in ABA therapy and RBT certification.

• Strong preference for enrollment in or completion of a degree program; bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields.
• Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within the first 6 weeks of employment (paid training provided).
• RBT certification required for CO Springs location.
• Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children.
• Reliable transportation to both training location and local center; punctuality essential.
• Physical requirements:
  
  sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods, stand, walk, occasionally run short distances to keep up with a client.
• Computer and tablet literacy.
• Ability to work on a team.

• $21.50 – $28.50/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities; initial offer hourly pay between $21.50 – $22.75.
