Skysill Bartender – Part‑time position at Crescent Hotels & Resorts
, located at the Skysill Pool and Lounge in Westin Tempe.

Overview

We are looking for an outgoing, friendly bartender to provide excellent food and beverage service to guests around our rooftop pool and cabanas. This role is part of our hospitality team and offers a range of benefits and development opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Serve beverages and food to guests, answer menu‑related questions, and maintain a high level of hospitality.
  • Prepare drinks for servers, handle cashier duties for the lounge, and operate the point‑of‑sale system.
  • Perform basic calculations to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, and prepare cash drops.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times, including grooming, dress, and punctuality.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, assist co‑workers with job duties, and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Keep the bar area clean and organized, and help with stock management and replenishment.
  • Operate kitchen and safety equipment, lift and carry up to 50 lb of product from storage to the bar.
  • Stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
  • Address routine problems and seek assistance when needed to maintain hotel standards.
  • Follow all hotel security policies, including key controls and reporting safety hazards.
Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
  • Proficiency with basic mathematics and the use of a point‑of‑sale system.
  • Strong communication skills in English and the ability to interact courteously with guests.
  • Self‑starting personality with an even disposition and a willingness to pitch‑in.
  • Manually dexterous, able to lift, load, and transport up to 50 lb; able to reach overhead and use a knife for garnishes.
  • Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for long periods; ability to operate a keyboard and other bar equipment.
  • Strong teamwork skills, able to establish and maintain effective relationships with associates, customers, and patrons.
Work Hours
  • PM shift, Monday–Friday, including holidays (part‑time).
