This role will support our Senior People Operations Business Partner in their strategic project and initiative plans and provide assistance in many areas of the People Operations umbrella. This role will require working in our HQ office on Tuesdays & Thursdays in Tempe, AZ.
Responsibilities- Administer & support daily HR processes and systems to ensure smooth operation and compliance in essential functions that support workforce efficiency.
- Assist with the fair and practical application of Human Resources policies and procedures, and supporting the Senior People Operations Business Partner in creating, implementing, executing and communicating policy changes.
- Facilitate a positive onboarding experience for new hires and contractors, ensuring a welcoming start to their journey with the company.
- Support the offboarding process for departing employees, ensuring a smooth transition and completion of necessary exit procedures while following and executing on all appropriate HR laws and regulations.
- Assist with employee relations by supporting a positive workplace culture, including handling exit interviews, assisting with investigations, assisting with proper and thorough documentation and addressing benefit and payroll questions as needed.
- Support performance management processes by assisting with the review procedures, updating evaluation templates, and providing educational resources for employees to assist with completion on review cycle processes.
- Assist with the eNPS survey administration and analysis process, assisting in data sorting and interpretation to identify trends and support initiatives based on feedback.
- Support wellness initiatives and events aimed at enhancing the physical and mental well‑being of employees.
- Coordinate employee appreciation and holiday initiatives, including organizing gifts and surprises that recognize team contributions.
- Manage office supplies by overseeing the ordering process for essentials such as snacks, beverages, and tech supplies. Ensure efficient inventory management and vendor coordination. (No more than 25% of overall role responsibilities)
- May assist with asset tracking and auditing, ensuring proper documentation and coordination with stakeholders for equipment management.
- May assist with payroll processing and assist with HRIS‑related projects to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.
- 2-4 years minimum experience in Talent Acquisition, People Operations, Office Management, Executive Assistant or other related positions with exposure to basic People Operations functions
- aPHR, PHR or SHRM‑CP is a plus but is not required
- Basic data analysis and processing skills are a big plus!
- Working with Microsoft or Google Suite tools is essential for this role.
