Talent Acquisition Recruiter

The Academies of Math and Science (AMS) is a network of high-performing, Title I charter schools committed to serving our communities through academic excellence, character development, and equity. With a team of over 700 dedicated staff, we impact the lives of over 10,000 students and their families across Arizona.

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Central Office Talent Team. This role will help support AMS's mission by identifying, attracting, and onboarding exceptional talent across all AMS campuses and departments.

• Own full-cycle recruiting: job postings, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and provide tailored recruiting strategies
• Develop and execute outreach plans to build diverse candidate pipelines
• Maintain clear, timely, and supportive communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Ensure compliance with state and federal hiring regulations
• Represent AMS at hiring events and networking engagements
• Contribute to employer branding and talent marketing initiatives

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
• 25 years of full-cycle recruitment experience
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS);
  Workday experience a plus
• Knowledge of employment law and best hiring practices
• Passion for education and commitment to equity and inclusion

• Experience recruiting in education or nonprofit sectors
• Demonstrated success with social media recruiting and brand engagement
