The HR Advisory Services team is hiring. The Accessibility & Accommodations team is seeking an HR Advisor to manage complex, high-impact cases at the intersection of employee experience, regulatory compliance, and business needs. In this role, HR Advisors manage cases through Service Now related to ADA, LOA, FMLA, and accessibility. This work requires strong judgment and a tailored approach—outcomes are not driven by a standard process, but by thoughtful analysis of nuanced situations.
Advisors operate within a complex and evolving legal landscape, applying federal, state, and local requirements in real time. The role requires balancing legal risk, employee needs, and business objectives to develop practical, defensible solutions. Cases are often sensitive and time-critical, requiring sound judgment, risk assessment, and clear recommendations. The HR Advisor serves as a trusted consultant, partnering with leaders and stakeholders to navigate complex scenarios, promote equitable outcomes, and support an inclusive workplace.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, Psychology or related degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of experience in employee relations or as an HR Generalist or associated HR position, disability management, or equivalent experience
- Previous experience working in HR Operations or HR Service Center preferred
- Experience with federal and state disability laws, specifically ADA, LOAs, Employee Relations, Employment Law, Disability case work is desired
- Ability to work independently and to identify when to engage others
- Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to maintain confidential information
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of accommodation solutions as it pertains to disability-related barriers
