This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations and technical support of our Epicor ERP system. The Epicor Technical Specialist will take ownership of ERP stability, performance, and upgrades, including leading the transition to Kinetic 2024. This position will work closely with IT, Operations, Finance, and other departments to support ERP system improvements, reporting, and integrations. The person will be responsible for troubleshooting, technical configuration, SQL-based tasks, and driving ERP-related automation, optimization and integration initiatives.

As we continue to scale and take on increasingly complex projects, our business systems must evolve to meet higher demands for efficiency, accuracy, and integration. To support this growth, we are seeking an Epicor Technical Specialist to help lead the optimization and modernization of our Epicor ERP platform.
Qualification/Skills:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Epicor ERP in a technical role, including system administration, module configuration, user support, customization, and issue resolution.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end manufacturing operations, including production planning, inventory control, supply chain management, and financial processes.
- Experience building dashboards and customizations.
- Ability to support and customize our Epicor ERP system to keep business processes efficient as needs change.
- Experience in upgrades and implementations.
- Knowledge of C#, .NET, SQL, BAQs, BPMs, SSRS, and ODBC connectivity is preferred.
- Familiarity with Doc Star ECM and Epicor Financial Planner is a plus.
- Experience with Epicor REST API and Application Studio, or other low‑code/no‑code tools, is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills, with a track record of effectively supporting cross‑functional teams.
- Own and manage Epicor system configuration, data migrations, and integrations to support Verigon’s evolving operational and business requirements.
- Lead Epicor ERP initiatives across Verigon’s two sites in collaboration with cross‑functional teams, ensuring system accuracy, optimizing functionality, supporting upgrades, and enabling seamless integrations.
- Provide comprehensive day‑to‑day support for the Epicor ERP system by diagnosing and resolving functional issues, such as posting errors, incomplete MES transactions, and inventory discrepancies, to ensure system reliability and timely resolution of user issues.
- Define, develop, and deploy ERP solutions using tools such as C#, .NET, BAQs, BPMs, SSRS reports, APIs, dashboards, DMT, and customizations to meet business needs.
- Coordinate testing, validation, and documentation of system enhancements, bug fixes, and upgrades in collaboration with super‑users and stakeholders.
- Lead the implementation of key system integrations, including Epicor Financial Planner and Doc Star ECM, ensuring alignment with Verigon’s business goals.
- Maintain a strong understanding of Verigon’s operational processes and leverage system capabilities to provide strategic guidance and continuous improvement.
- Monitor Epicor system performance, proactively address technical issues, and coordinate with both internal and external resources to ensure stability and reliability.
- Support the creation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and lead user training initiatives.
The work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting where hazardous materials may be present. Security investigations may be conducted to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or work areas.
