You will be part of a core digital services application support team focused on the stability of various applications and systems, including reactive troubleshooting during incidents and proactive system improvements.

• Ensure availability of our systems, providing quality solutions for business and enterprise software needs.
• Troubleshoot system outages or performance issues to determine root causes and implement resolutions.
• Lead analyst role for high‑level technical system design for new and enhanced systems.
• Lead small initiatives and provide technical leadership on complex system‑level assignments.
• Guide and train less experienced developers on business impact and technical design.
• Develop business and technical requirements for enhancements, projects, and new systems.
• Design, develop, test, document, and implement quality application software within targeted due dates.
• Provide and validate program/task/system estimates.
• Lead walk‑throughs to assure quality of programs developed by other associates, ensuring adherence to firm standards.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to modify software to avoid future problems and promote continuous improvement.
• Create documentation across many systems and functional areas, describing touchpoints and impacts at a total system level.
• Periodically review and confirm general support documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of software development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain technical issues and their implications for projects and business decisions, facilitate discussion and resolution of problems, and mentor other technology associates.
• Expert level in Java Web Application Development.
• Understanding of infrastructure architecture – networks, productivity tools, operating systems – and ability to provide input to leaders about the impact of these components.

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Cloud experience – AWS or Azure.
• Candidates living within commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ or St. Louis, MO offices are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
