Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Systems Business Analyst to join our Human Resources team, supporting the PERA department, a training and conference center that serves Salt River Project. This role will serve as a critical liaison between HR, IT, and vendors, with a specialized focus on hospitality applications central to PERA's operations. As the subject matter expert, the analyst will ensure the system is optimized to support business objectives and event management.

The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in hospitality and / or retail, along with a strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and system implementation. They will be responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions that enhance operational efficiency and user experience.

What You'll DoSystem Analysis & Optimization
  • Analyze current PERA systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Evaluate and recommend hospitality and / or HR technology solutions that align with organizational goals.
Project Management
  • Lead or support PERA system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Data & Reporting
  • Design and maintain dashboards and reports for key metrics for all PERA departments.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal policies.
  • Support accounting audits and compliance reporting.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Act as a liaison between HR, IT, and external vendors.
  • Provide training and support to end users on system functionalities.
  • Facilitate change management and user adoption strategies.
System Maintenance & Support
  • Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate resolution with HR, IT or vendors.
  • Maintain documentation for system configurations and processes.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements.
What It Takes To Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience that prepares the candidate for the position.
