IT Support, Systems Engineer
As a Data Center Technician at AWS Infrastructure Services, you’ll be part of a diverse team of engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, and operations managers. Your role will support AWS data centers, ensuring the reliability of servers, storage, networking, power and cooling equipment, and participate in an on‑call rotation for after‑hours support.
Key Job Responsibilities- Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds and participate in group lifts for 41+ pounds.
- Work in a 24/7 environment and participate in on‑call rotation, providing after‑hours support as needed.
- Perform in‑depth hardware and network diagnostics followed by physical repair.
- Travel regionally as required.
- Associate’s degree in an IT‑related field or equivalent professional or military experience.
- 2+ years of experience with server hardware.
- 1+ year of experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
- Hands‑on experience with Dell, HP or similar hardware platforms.
- Networking experience with CCNA and/or Network+ certifications.
- Previous experience working in a data‑center environment (racking, cable management, containment).
- Associate’s degree plus two years of progressively responsible experience.

Base pay for this position ranges from $55,900 in the lowest market to $125,100 in the highest market, plus potential equity, sign‑on, and benefits. The role is full‑time and located in Tempe, AZ.
