  • Knowledge and experience troubleshooting the first 4 layers of the OSI model:

  • Data link
  • Network
  • Transport
  • Has worked with and troubleshooted broadband connections:
  • T1s
  • Metro E
  • Broadband (cable, fiber, DSL) connections
  • Any WAN circuits
  • Experience supporting WAN circuit and working with LECs troubleshooting WAN circuits
  • Experience supporting VOIP network in production environment
  • Routing and switching:
  • Configuring
  • Troubleshooting
  • Cisco CLI proficiency
  • Education or practical experience with SDWAN troubleshooting/deployment:
  • Viptela vmanage
