RoleThe Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Architect is a key Practice Director responsible for client advisory, scoping implementations, solution design, and overall engagement advisory within Cloud ERP Financials.
Responsibilities- Lead the implementation of Oracle Cloud Financials ERP solutions, overseeing design, development and integration.
- Support enterprise design and integration solutions between Oracle Cloud ERP and other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand business requirements and architect solutions.
- Design comprehensive solutions that align with business needs and industry best practices.
- Implement integrations with 3rd‑party systems in collaboration with the technical team.
- Work with cross‑functional teams—including developers, analysts, workstream leads, project managers and Oracle—to deliver successful outcomes.
- Configure applications to meet requirements using built‑in features.
- Optimize performance, monitor, and troubleshoot application issues.
- Conduct quality‑assurance reviews to ensure solutions meet functional, technical, security, and business specifications.
- Prepare functional documentation such as architecture diagrams, design specifications and user guides.
- Build best practices for Oracle Cloud ERP Financials solutions (GL, AP, AR, Expenses, Cash Management, FA).
- Facilitate discovery calls, assess and map customer needs to Oracle Cloud Financials capabilities.
- Support proposal and Statement of Work development.
- Conduct demos of Oracle Cloud Financials to prospective customers.
- Stay current on service offerings and Oracle product releases through conferences and webinars.
- Design realistic, implementable solutions with the Delivery Director and Sales team.
- Share up‑to‑date releases, features and best practices with the team.
- Act as senior client‑facing advisor on designs and best practices.
- The position can be performed from anywhere in the United States.
Bachelor’s Degree.
Technical & Professional Expertise- Post‑secondary degree, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- 7–10 years of delivery consulting experience, with at least 3 years as a senior delivery lead or Solution Architect.
- Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Financials – GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, Expenses, Taxes.
- Knowledge of accounting processes and workflows and their relationship to the application and client business requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify risks and issues, and propose effective solutions using Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Proficiency in configuring and customizing Oracle Cloud applications to meet specific client requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal instruction.
- Strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills – verbal and written – with the ability to translate technical concepts and designs into non‑technical language.
