The Global Learning & Development (GL&D) Learning Innovation Lead is responsible for scouting, evaluating, and piloting emerging learning technologies, including AI, automation, simulations, tools and apps, to determine where they create measurable value and can scale across the enterprise. This role turns experimentation into disciplined decisions, moving promising ideas from proof of concept to validated, business-ready solutions while retiring what does not deliver.
As GL&D evolves from producing training to improving business performance, this role is central to the department's commitment to automate and enhance with technology first, simplify how we work, and build for the future rather than the current state. The Learning Innovation Lead owns the process for evaluating and prioritizing new learning technologies and partners closely with GL&D teams to plan and implement successful pilots to evaluate technologies for scaling.
This role works across GL&D and with HR Product, Technology, the AI Center of Excellence, Third Party Risk Management, and vendor partners. Success is measured not by the volume of experiments, but by the number of innovations that reach production and deliver improved performance, faster cycle times, and a stronger learner experience.

- Partner with Procurement and GL&D vendor management on new vendor relationships, licensing, and contracting for approved technologies.
- Establish lightweight governance that speeds good decisions rather than slowing them, balancing agility with responsible adoption.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to GL&D leaders and business partners on emerging technology opportunities and practical application.
- Develop adoption and change plans, including enablement, documentation, and support needed for successful hand-off of new technologies to BAU processes.
