We are looking for a skilled, experienced Purchasing Agent. Ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail.
Experienced in managing a "live" inventory with many vendors.
This position is central to the success of our business.
Qualifications- 3-5 years experience preferably (but not required) in a distribution business.
- Knowledge of purchasing best practices.
- Working knowledge of ERP software and MS office.
- Outstanding organization skills.
- Run daily stock status reports.
- Track lead times and ETAs of orders.
- Receive items into inventory
- Review vendor invoices.
- Make inventory adjustments and update vendor records.
Our company distributes supplies/equipment to hospitality, laundries, healthcare, dry cleaners statewide.
49 years in business under same owners. We are replacing a retiring buyer who has been here 15 years.
Employees receive an annual bonus based on performance
