VDC Supervisor Tempe, AZ

Position Summary

Provides leadership and direction to Division VDC teams within the region, overseeing administration, growth, and workflow.

• Oversees and manages Managers/Leads and VDC Field Techs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and team productivity.
• Identifies and addresses performance inefficiencies, issues, and risks; implements strategies to improve overall performance.
• Leads communication efforts among VDC Field Tech team members, resolving concerns and ensuring company procedures are up to date.
• Assigns and updates scheduled tasks weekly, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Maintains and enforces quality control standards across all projects, ensuring high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Coaches, mentors, and develops staff members, providing opportunities for professional growth and delegating work to keep team members engaged.
• Manages procurement processes, coordinates with equipment vendors, and oversees rental equipment; stays updated with emerging technologies and promotes their adoption.

• Bachelor’s Degree in related discipline preferred
• 8-10 years of related experience, including one year lead experience
• Solid leadership skills:
  Ability to build, manage, coach and lead a team
• Solid verbal and written communication skills:
  Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization (leadership/executives and other stakeholders).
• Understanding of project workflows and planning in design and construction environment
• Solid knowledge of organizational readiness & Implementation.
• Possesses expertise in the supported business function(s).
• Deep understanding of relevant technologies, technical principles, processes, and broad knowledge of related disciplines.
• Working knowledge of engineering, fabrication, and construction processes.
• Ability to work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
