CNC Lathe Setup and Operator

Small family production machine shop looking for someone to setup and run a 2019 Mazak QT 200. 4 DAY WORK WEEK - NO EVENINGS OR WEEKENDS! PTO.

• Ability to independently setup, program, and operate a Mazak QT 200 using Mazatrol. (Switching to G-code may be possible if that is what you're used to.)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints on a variety of part types.
• Knowledge of machining different types of material, such as Stainless, High and Low Carbon Steels, Aluminum, and Plastics.
• Ability to inspect parts and fill out inspection reports.

• Interpret Blueprints to setup and program precision parts.
• Work with Shop Manager to formulate plans for order of operations and tooling.
• Inspect parts and make adjustments as needed to stay in conformance.
• Run parts after set up to complete order.
• Deburr parts as needed.
• Record inspection data.

• 4+ years CNC lathe experience.
• Knowledge of Mazak lathes, Mazatrol preferred but not required.
• Understanding of precision machining.
• Proficient with inspection tools.
• (Optional) Gibbs
  
  CAM software programming experience is a plus.
• (Optional) CNC Mill experience is a plus.
• (Optional) Ability to work independently with just a drawing with minimal supervision is a plus.

• Paid time off
• Monday - Thursday work week, 6 am - 4 pm.
• Overtime optional and available occasionally
