Location: Priest & Broadway - 1515 W 17th St, Tempe, AZ 85281

Full time, day shift position

Starts at $17.00 per hour

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship or Valid Permanent Resident status is required.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Operate CNC saw for machine shop warehouse operations.
• Kit/Bin material and deliver jobs to production as required.
• Ensures material meets quality specifications (grade, size, etc)
• Will be required to drive a forklift.
• Offloads and stacks material in accordance with established procedures
• Ensures work area is safe, clean and organized, and that equipment is safe to operate.
• Performs other duties in saw department as assigned.

Skills and abilities:

• Must successfully complete Forklift Driver certification process.
• Ability to work in a safe manner and follow established safety and quality procedures, rules, and standards.
• Demonstrate ability to use and operate dangerous equipment
• Punctual and reliable
• Looks for ways to improve productivity and department results

Physical Requirements:

• Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision and hearing.
• Requires bending, squatting, reaching.
• Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull medium weights, up to 50 pounds.
• Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity, and exposure to dust, fumes and gases.
