Job Title: Forming Machine Operator I
Location: Tempe, AZ
Pay Range: $21.75 – $22.50 per hour (DOE and Shift)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2nd and 3rd shifts
About the RoleOur client, a leader in logistics and supply chain management, is seeking a Forming Machine Operator I to join their operations team. In this role, you will support manufacturing by operating brake press and CNC-type machines. A strong team-oriented attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and effective communication are key to success.
ResponsibilitiesOperate computerized manufacturing technologies to meet production and customer requirements.
Perform set-up duties on fabrication equipment and safety devices per production documentation.
Position materials and tooling, maintaining proper dimensions according to print specifications.
Adjust equipment, controllers, and edit programs as needed.
Inspect work to ensure dimensional accuracy per prints.
Perform preventative maintenance and assist with troubleshooting.
Report unsafe conditions and maintain compliance with safety procedures.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum 1 year of machine operating experience.
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, algebra).
Knowledge of assigned production processes and safety policies.
Mechanical repair and troubleshooting skills.
Fork truck license or ability to obtain one.
Ability to lift and handle heavy material gauges.
