Quality Assurance Specialist

• Field incoming quality requests from customers and suppliers.
• Help manage the failure analysis process.
• Direct inner action with suppliers to resolve RCCA / CAPA related issues.
• With directions, communicate with suppliers and Engineers regarding product related issues, test issues and change requests.
• Create quality schedules related to the new product development process.
• Request and collect quality documentation from suppliers based on Rockford or Customer requirements. Ensure documents conform to requirements and assemble PPAP packages.
• Perform root cause corrective actions / corrective action, preventative action (RCCA / CAPA).
• Recommend changes or modifications to increase reliability, decrease failures and improve overall quality of products.
• Review outgoing product quality inspections.
• Assist review of production tests, repair tests, and failure analysis.
• Create shipping requests.
• Help develop and manage processes that relate to quality.

• 3 years of experience in root cause analysis.
• Advanced experience in failure analysis.
• Knowledge of QA / QC processes.
• Post secondary study in any of the following a plus: quality, electrical, or mechanical engineering.
• Mandarin fluency a plus.
• Read schematics, mechanical drawings, and decipher circuit board layout a plus.
• Familiarity with the integration of car audio systems including source units, equalizers, speakers, subwoofers, signal processors, and amplifiers.
• Excellent communications and problem-solving skills are a must.
• Proficiency in full Microsoft suite of products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT) expected.
