Leasing Manager
E & G Real Estate Services is seeking a licensed Leasing Manager to lead our leasing team, ensure compliance, and oversee leasing operations while driving portfolio performance.
About the RoleThis is a full-time managerial position that plays a key role in overseeing the leasing operations and successful lease-up of single-family residential properties across the Phoenix Metro area. Your goal is to lead and support the leasing team of agents, assistants, and transaction support, optimize leasing processes while ensuring timeliness and compliance, and drive operational success. You’ll become a subject-matter expert on leasing operations, project coordination, and property management strategies for our valued clients and you will have opportunities to engage with other departments and directly with property owners or tenants.

Required:

- Oversee Company leasing functions including rental analysis, leasing marketing, lead management, property inspections, leasing application and approval, leasing transaction, tenant relations & move in, and lease renewals.
- Manage, coach, and support the leasing team, including Leasing Agents, Leasing Assistants, and Leasing Transaction Manager, including assisting in hiring, providing orientation/ongoing training to team members, managing staffing, conducting performance reviews, and taking appropriate disciplinary action or separation/off-boarding when necessary.
- Run daily huddles, weekly meetings, and participate in property management meetings.
- Supervise and provide guidance to leasing team members to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including ADRE, ARLTA, and Fair Housing.
- Assign properties to leasing agents and review rental analyses for accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee property marketing preparation, ensuring each listing has quality photos, virtual tours, and accurate details, and that listings are correctly published across all platforms (App Folio, MLS, Zillow, Tenant Turner and other rental sites).
- Provide real-time feedback to leasing agents for any corrections made/required (including request for repairs, price reduction requests, lead status data entry, agent recommendations, bi-weekly agent property visits, coordination between leasing and projects to correct any property level issues, lead management/TRI follow up).
- Oversee the leasing team to ensure all rental leads are followed up promptly, move-in inspections are completed accurately and on time, and lease renewals are processed before their deadlines.
- Facilitate the timely and successful resolution of owner, tenant, or third-party complaints and escalations, ensuring issues are addressed professionally and in line with company standards.
- Monitor property availability and status, ensuring all units are actively marketed, showing progress, and successfully leased in a timely manner.
- Maintaining a constructive, trusting, and highly interactive relationship with the Company’s Leadership and other Company departments
- Execute strategic initiatives (Quarterly Rocks) to improve leasing efficiency and performance.
- Analyze leasing metrics and portfolio performance to identify opportunities for improvement, guide leasing strategy, optimize processes, and provide actionable recommendations to the team.
- Arizona Real Estate License (active or obtained before start date).
- 3+ years of experience in residential leasing and/or property management; managerial experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Arizona Residential Landlord-Tenant Act, Fair Housing, and real estate regulations.
- Proficiency in MLS, property management software (such as App Folio or similar), Lead Simple, Google Suite, and Apple/macOS.
